Eric Serrano

Eric Serrano received his engineering degree in Agriculture from the engineering school ESAP in 1994 and worked for two years as a technical manager in a winery in the South of France. He joined the French Research Institute of Vine and Wine (IFV) in 1996 as a vineyard engineer and in 2004, he became the Manager of the South West Area of IFV. He now manages the research of 14 engineers. He is in charge of several National and European project (InterReg, H2020). His research interests are Estimation of Vineyard Yield, Sensors in the vineyard, and the use of vision techniques and infra-red techniques to model wine quality. He is member and administrator of the French pole of competitiveness for Agriculture Agrisud-ouest Innovation.
