Bradley Mullens is a Professor of Entomology. Researcher on integrated management of arthropod pests of livestock and poultry.

Current research centers on:

1. host-parasite relationships with the poultry ectoparasites Ornithonyssus and Menacanthus;
2.  the biology, ecology and control of Culicoides vectors of bluetongue virus to wild and domestic ruminants and relationships to hemorrhagic disease epizootiology;
3.  chemical, biological and cultural control of muscoid flies (Musca, Fannia, Stomoxys, Haematobia).

Mullens is also interested in using population biology tools to interpret effectiveness of control efforts for biting and pest flies.
